As of March 30, 2023, the &#8220;Whistleblowing Decree&#8221;, also known as the Italian Legislative Decree No. 24 of March 10, 2023, went into effect. This decree implements Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and the Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of individuals who report breaches of Union law and containing provisions regarding the protection of individuals who report breaches of national laws.
This legislation requires both public and private sector entities, affected by Legislative Decree 24/2023, to establish internal reporting channels that ensure the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity.
Disano Illuminazione S.p.A. has activated the reporting channel through its online platform available (in Italian only) at:<a href="https://disano.segnalachi.it/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> https://disano.segnalachi.it/</a>.
This platform takes all the necessary measures to maintain confidentiality of all such reports, and not disclose details of individuals making the report.
